Stacy Pershall, a friend of mine, is making a cinema verite documentary entitled Better the Devil You Know with cinematographer Annie Waldman. Their plan is to teach adolescent girls in inpatient psych treatment facilities to shoot Super 8 film, and to include the girls' films with theirs. They are asking everyone they know to donate $1 to the cause. Here's all the info, including budget, resumes, etc:

And I'm not anti-American Idol either! I mean I've never watched it but that Kelly Clarkson chick has a good voice. This guy? Ughughughughughugh.....

Clay Aiken. Why? I don't get it. Am I the only one? I've seen that horrifying video for that horrifying song 'Invisible' once and I could not for the life of me figure out what the fuss is all about. He's not even cute. He looks like a little mouse. And not one that you
wanna buy at the pet store. It's more like one you'd set a trap for in your basement. And that voice? Good lord. "Whaaaatcha doin toniiight". It's the most god awful thing I've heard in a very long time. And didn't he LOSE on American Idol anyway?? (Don't watch it)

I haven't watched one single episode of friends this season....I did decide, however, that I wanted to watch the series finale.

In a word - yawn.

And hey ER, how bout you STOP MAKING ME WANT TO SLIT MY WRISTS EVERY TIME I WATCH!
